In the new reality of end-to-end supply chain velocity, they are removing the middle man for better control, responsiveness, & speed. It could be called a game changer. The cost advantage with Amazon doing it themselves. Removing the profit from outside services by bringing it inside. Aside, perhaps from parcel carriers, Last Mile, maybe the biggest fear factor should be with retail firms.
