SUPPLY CHAINS, CHANGE, STUCK IN A RUT

Why are so many companies stuck in the rut of what they are doing and do not move into blue ocean opportunities with supply chain management--global ecommerce, multichannel, and competitive differentiator?  Why are they more likely to change the color of a box as a way to grow business instead of changing how they use their supply chains to do business?
