ACCOUNTING IS IMPEDIMENT TO SUPPLY CHAIN CHANGE
One issue with Supply Chain change to omnichannel/e-commerce is accounting. Freight and warehouse costs are on P&L. Inventory is on Balance Sheet. And NO accounting form has supply chain performance or customer service. In the digital age, we are must with accounting principles that predate the Model T.
