AMAZON IN GERMANY

From Handelsblatt--

Howdy Amazon: The American Internet giant is now delivering goods to Munich’s e-commerce addicts within the hour. Yesterday the first distribution center opened in downtown Munich, holding more than 10,000 items from milk to sneakers, ready for delivery via bike messenger. The very object delivering the retail is now leading by example on how to disrupt the economy. That’s what disruption’s all about. Munich’s salespeople should change their dress: Throw away your work blazer and pull out your biking shorts. The customer is no longer advised in-store, but visited at home.
